Seven of us popped in on Sunday 02nd January after a ten mile circular hike. Friendly, welcoming and decent prices - added bonus of a comedian sitting at the bar. Nice one. HNY.

The only place to go when you want a no nonsense pint.No kids, no cappuccinos, no poncey gastro food!!!!The last of a dying breed of pubs in this town.Go in there buy a drink and just sit down and enjoy what you won't get anywhere else around the town!!!!!
