I've never had any problems with this fish and chip shop and have been using it for years. With new owners it has a fresh lick of paint and the Oriental statue has disappeared. Top quality fish and chips from one of the area's renowned fryers.

This place was recommended to me. I'm not sure what happened. The guy got the order wrong, there was a kid climbing on everything, no one was wearing a mask, and it was the greasiest fish and chips I've ever tried to eat in my life ??♂️

Unfortunately the staff on duty were very rude. Spoke only very loudly amongst themselves. The phone was continuously ringing and they were arguing who was going to answer it, so nobody did. The chips were inedible. Unfortunately will not go there again?
Made an order through Uber eats last night, no tracking showing and debit card pending with my bank. Called them and said they don't use Uber eats, funny that I have 3 previous orders showing, 1 in June and 2 in July!!

Great fish and chips. The cod is always beautifully flakey and the chips aren’t overly greasy. The portions are incredibly generous and the food is consistently cooked to a high standard. It’s become even better since they started delivering too. Would definitely recommend.
