A great local pub that offers something more traditional than others in the area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They have a good pub-grub menu and a blackboard of specials. I ordered the lasagne from the specials and was really expecting a microwaved meal despite it being on the specials list, but I was surprised to receive a huge homemade portion with a mountain of chips and salad. Great little pub with friendly staff, nicely spaced tables and a good range of food and drinks. Portions are big and prices reasonable. Live locally but only just visited for the first time. Will be back.

Great pub, traditional, clean, tidy and on the night I was there, quiet but it was mid week and pouring hard so hardly their fault! Beer was great, pool table worked and staff were really friendly! Will be back! Didn't eat so cannot comment on food.
