“Three of us called in for lunch. The pub was quiet, we received a warm welcome. The menu is not extensive, but there is something for everyone (Vegan aside) on a ‘proper’ traditional pub menu.
Food was excellent, well cooked, generous portions, fair value for money.
I have no idea why this pub, in a fairly busy high street, is so quiet, it shouldn’t be.”

We had a lovely stay. We had the Birch room which was pretty and clean. The owners are very kind, helpful and were keen to have a chat. We are definitely coming back!”
