The burger was awful covered in salt and overcooked. Had barely any flavour chips where dry. Would never eat here again over priced and a microwave burger tastes better.
I've been to this restaurant a number of times before. Let's face it, the food is good and the service is, as usual, very good. But my main problem is the size of the main dishes. About 4 months ago I had a spag bol (in this same restaurant) which was really well cooked, but absolutely tiny. I had to have half of my girlfriend's meal and was still hungry when I left. I assumed there had been a mix-up and they had brought me a starter or a child's meal by mistake. I'm not a big fella, but this was smaller than you would expect for a starter, let alone a main course. Last night we went back and I ordered the same, mentioning to the waitress about the previously-tiny portion and asked that I have a "proper, normal sixed" meal. The pasta turned up, and again, it was absolutely tiny. Again, I had about a third of my girlfriend's meal and some of her chips. The pasta was lovely and the service, as usual, great, but, as a warning to anyone going to this restaurant; if you're hungry DO NOT ORDER THE SPAG BOL!!Apart from that, yes, great.

Food was okay and nothing more. Starter of bread and olives was nice enough, but main course of sea bass with gnocchi was uneventful, the fish particularly being underwhelming. Ice cream desert was straight from the fridge so was not pleasant to eat. Overbearing air con had the room feeling very cold. On the plus side, the waitress was attentive, polite and friendly.

Lovely premises, generally good food. Shame that vegetarian option has now been removed.
