“We just had our wedding lunch here. We couldn’t have been better looked after. Originally we booked the upstairs function room but as it was hot and muggy, Sarah offered us the outdoor covered space.
The food was first class and the service was splendid. So attentive.
Honestly, we made the right decision to eat here. They made our day perfect. Thank you!”

Bar • “Visited The Welsh Princess for the first time last night after after hearing The Gunnysacks, (a band we’ve become big fans of) we’re going to play there. What a great find! The pub has a lovely atmosphere, we brought our children along and were made to feel really welcome by both the staff and even the regulars. The music was fantastic, the drinks were reasonably priced and the whole evening was just spot on. Wishing the new landlord every success, this feels like a place that’s quickly going to become one of the best pubs in Essex.”
