Absolutely stunning. Always made to feel so welcome. So homely, lovely and warm. Food delightful. We love coming here so much! Roasts banging, 10/10. Beef and Turkey succulent, veg amazing, mouth watering and can’t fault it. Please visit this little gem in the heart of the village. You won’t be disappointed. ❤️
We met friends here on our way to their place at the end of our trip. It's a really quaint and picturesque village and the outdoor seating area at the front was perfect to enjoy a couple of bevvies. Really nice place.

We met friends for an impromptu lunch.. There was a warm welcome, the staff were attentive without pestering. The food was delicious and served, quickly and hot. Would recommend to anyone. Can't wait for warmer weather so we can eat outside looking at what is possibly the prettiest village in Essex.
