All very easy and inoffensive. Food is always nice, and the chefs talked to us about how they cooked some of the foods, which was really great. Love that! They seemed quite passionate about what they were making, which is always good to see!Parking: Parking? There's loads of it, difficult to park when you are a hungry middle aged man, you will need someone to tell you to "JUST F*&KING PARK WILL YA?!!!!".

Honestly if I could give these guys more than five stars I would! They were so busy this evening as-well as being short staffed and still managed to give amazing service and gorgeous food! 10/10!!! Plus the manager was a star!!!

Came in today, was served by tetyana who at the end thought it was okay to ask for a tip for her service!Someone at the table has a nut allergy and they chucked the “allergy folder” on the table and said to look in there and help yourself! The manager was just standing constantly at the food pass talking to the chefs! Would probably not return unless the allergy procedure was followed properly!

Poor portions. I usually get the chicken calebrese at my favourite Zizzi branch in Cambridge. In there you get the correct portion with 2 roasted chicken breast served in a sizeable plate. All I received from this place are 5 chicken strip and a bowl full of roast potatoes. I asked about it but the waitress said it’s how they normally serve it. Flavour is the same but if you’re expecting value for your money then I wouldn’t recommend.

The food here was lovely, but honestly the service is shambolic ,making our order was awkward , getting our food was badly timed with bits and pieces arriving randomly, even tho it was on the side . Then theain problem quite bizarrely was getting anyone to give us the bill , literally waited 15 mins to get the server attention as she seemed to do anything but get eye contact with us . I manage a restaurant and would employ any of the chefs here in a heartbeat but I'd have to train every server in how to serve customers. Sorry

Been to this Zizzi's several times before and thought it was a pretty good place to eat until today...Arrived with my wife and our two children plus my sister-in-law and brother-in-law seeking a table only to be told that despite the restaurant being practically EMPTY it would be a problem to seat us! The waitress then said that she would bring two tables together - we noticed very quickly that the restaurant was very cold (literally) and that there was no atmosphere. In placing our order, we found that a number of drinks were not in stock. Moreover, it then took an inoedinate amount of time for our starters to be delivered to the table - we had to ask for the childrens food!Next, while we were still eating our starters, the waitress thought it was a good idea to also deliver the mains - we did not ask for this! Just glad that I did not ask for my dessert at the outset too!!Speaking of desserts, we are still waiting to order them...We will not be returning!

When we entered the restaurant we were initially brought to a table that was dirty, and broken and had to ask to move tables. Although this was catered for quickly we were hurried over to another table, which was also still dirty with rubbish on the table. Drinks and food order was done quickly and the starter arrived relatively quickly, although this left a lot to be desired as the calamari itself was bland and you had to rely on the small ration of sauce they provide with the starter. After this we waited fifteen minutes for the dish to be cleared and a further 10 minutes for the main to arrive. This was disappointing also, as my girlfriend’s carbonara was stodgy and luke warm at best, they then brought out the wrong dish for myself. My correct main, a simple bolognaise was brought out quickly but was very watered down and resembled something I would feed to my dog. Not impressed with this at all. This was meant to be a date night which we cannot get out and do regularly and we left feeling cold, hungry and disappointed. The restaurant was very cold to the point where other customers had to borrow small electric heaters to put on there table. We was able to tell it was very under staffed as the waitresses were not very attentive. The final nail in the coffin was the price. £15 for a main is usually not too bad for “decent” quality food, however the food provided was not worth the price, and is something I would expect from a school canteen. Admittedly we did get up from the table straight after we finished our mains to pay at the bar as we didn’t want to be in there any longer but when we paid we wasn’t given no bill and had to ask how much it come too before paying and also given no receipt. I would have like to been told if there was service charge added as from the reviews I’ve read on here there has been one added without people’s knowledge as they don’t provide bills and don’t tell you about the charge. With the news saying that Zizzi’s is struggling for business. Sadly I can see why.
