Lovely country pub warm and welcoming, we stopped off on our way home and had 2 ploughman’s and a portion of chips. The staff were polite and friendly and told us the entertainment came for free. It was a lovely spot to stop made we wish we had a pub like that at home

A great place to eat, service, staff were pleasant and helpful, food was reasonably priced with a good selection to choose from. The Brentwood Best was the only beer I had and was very tasty and went down very well. All in all had a very nice evening at the pub and will call back when I’m down that way again

We have been regulars here for many years now.As a couple we come once a week and prefer to dine in the bar. When we are entertaining others , we have a table in the restaurant. All the staff are friendly and accommodating......a truly family - friendly venue.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible through the restaurant side door. The main pub door is heavily sprung and might be trickier.
