Drove past The Plough many times. First time and everything surprised me. The decor, attentive but not overbearing staff, but most of all the food. Everything my friend had said beforehand was proven, I really enjoyed it and will definitely be going again
A pub turned into a gastro posh place is not really my thing but to be fair, it was difficult to fault it. Decor very modern but nicely done. Food expensive but worth it as impeccably presented and delicious. Service excellent although more of a professional approach than warm and friendly. It can't really be described as a pub any more - it's a bar with gastro. Doesn't even sell Guinness or Cider. So if that's your preference, it can be thoroughly recommended.

This place has been transformed. Welcoming, friendly and professional staff. Perfectly mixed cocktails, great & tasty food. Warm and relaxing atmosphere. We’re so pleased we’ve rediscovered this place. In fact we went twice in one week. One of my new favourite local places to eat
