Amazing service, amazing food and super lovely staff. We moved into our new flat yesterday and was given a slightly wrong address by the agency, so our food ended up being delivered to the wrong address! Annoyingly, the other residents happily took the free food without question (who could blame them but seriously? There’s a special place waiting for youWe called the restaurant and they swiftly sorted the issue, and I picked up the second order of food directly from the restaurant to avoid any issues with delivery. The staff were very apologetic about the issue we had and instead of charging us the full amount again, we paid a highly discounted rate which was extremely kind of them as most restaurants would charge you again or refuse altogether, especially how late the food had to be remade.Overall the food was absolutely delicious and definitely the best takeaway my partner and I have ever experienced. The staff were lovely, kind and helpful throughout the whole ordeal and we will definitely be solely ordering from this restaurant in the future. 10/10 and highly recommend! Thank you team!

Always friendly service and delicious food. We love the vegan selection, we got to try the saag aloo potatoes and spicy popadoms which were great (amazing service to hear us mention these when deciding what to order) and will re order. Thank you for consistency delivering and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Kaani Kaana never fails to disappoint. All their dishes are really delicious and cooked to perfection. It’s evident that they cook with dedication and provide you a memorable eating experience. The staff are very friendly and really do make you feel at home. I definitely do recommend it to anyone in Chelmsford, looking for a satisfying meal and a friendly face ;)

Best Indian takeaway in Chelmsford by some distance but the menu is slightly limited - but what they do, they do very well.I love the fact they use cardboard takeaway boxes (rather than plastic) and provide a great delivery service too.

We are based next door to Kaani Kaana and used them last year to prepare a Diwali lunch for the Backhouse Solicitors team which went down very well with everyone. As they did such a great job we asked them to prepare the food for our daughter's 16th birthday party at Springfield Parish Centre. Sadiq and the team prepared and delivered a feast of Biryanis, Samosas, Kati Rolls and other delicious food which went down very well with the hungry party guests, family and friends on the night. They were extremely helpful all along and we had loads of great feedback from everyone - well done to Sadiq and the Kaani Kaana team - we will be using you again!

As a child, having previously been brought up on good old traditional English food, I was a little sickly kid, and really not a good eater. Then, I got taken to my first Indian restaurant in South East London in 1969; I was 13yrs old. This experience totally blew my mind! And so, now, at 67yrs old, I've spent years trying to excite my taste buds with different flavours. But, for a few years now I've become a little bored with the same old BIR currys.I'm constantly trying different takeaways to see if I can find something a little different. But, tonight, my Wife and I tried Kaani Kaana for the first time.At first sight of the menu, it was a little expensive. But it was absolutely worth every single penny! We had a Lamb Bhuna, Chicken Tikka Masala, Pilau rice, Tandoori platter, Peshawar Naan, and Keema Naan.I have to say, without exaggeration, that it was definitely one of the best takeaways that I have ever had in my life!!!What a breath of fresh air this food was.Thank you so so much; we'll definitely order again.Highly recommended!!!

5 stars all round. Best takeaway I've had in AGES. Partner loved the gorsh pastry and I really recommend the Kati roll. Chicken bhunas were lovely and the keema naans were thick and pillowy I can't rate them enough. We ordered for pick up at 7 on a Saturday night and ended up leaving with our food around half 7 (understandable it's very busy) but was well worth the wait. The ladies behind the counter were so lovely, welcoming, chatty and friendly they did a fantastic job. Was offered some chai while I waited at it was DELICIOUS. The interior is so lovely as well it's brilliant inside. In the end we spend £21 each for dinner and we have left overs for tomorrow. 100% will order here again, can't fault them for anything :)Parking: There is parking outside but it's a taxi rank and can get quite busy with the delivery drivers.

Second time I have had a takeaway from here. Staff always friendly and welcoming. Food from what I have tried is good and always packed nicely.

The best Indian takeaway in Chelmsford now. We have ordered 4 times from Kaani Kaana now and every time the food has been excellent. Try the Beef Gosht Shatkora, its perfectly cooked each time..They deliver direct from the restaurant as well so a better personal touch and if food gets delayed when they are busier they ring to tell you.One thing, the next time you update your menu, can you add a Beef option to the Classic Dishes as I would love a Beef Madras.

Severely late both times. Took over 2 hours to deliver most recently. They shut the phone lines off for 45 minutes so no updates. Eventually told that they would call us back at the end of the night to compensate us but they never called. So much for being ‘customer obsessed’.It’s a nice business idea but has clearly over expanded - radio adverts, deliveroo discounts - but cannot handle the scale.Food is no better than the alternative Indian options in Chelmsford. Even better, you will get your food on-time elsewhere.P.s. stating zero emissions in inaccurate
