I originally gave this place a good review, however I'm sick to the back teeth of the absolute weapon that calls herself manager. She manage a bowel movement let alone a pub. She clearly ss has issues that extend far beyond obesity a bad attitude and a total lack regard for anybody that She deems to be not from the same swamp as her. Her mansgement style is straight from the attilla the hun charm school. I feel sorry for the only ray of sunshine behind the bar at tgst place...ClaireAvoid at all costs if you own a dog or your face don't fit cause thus sorry excuse for a publican will sit in her quarters checking the cameras issuing orders to the brain dead staff (except Claire). The place is usually empty and it's not surprising ...its being run by a moron with anger intellectual and a massively over inflated sense of her own importance...your just a bar maid love and a bad one at that!

Been here twice recently, It's a great local pub. Much improved over previous years. Good Halloween decorations atm. Charity nights, Bingo night, Good Darts team. Amazing friendly staff. Beer, lager, wine and spirits...No food other than snacks. Pool table, Fruit machines, dart boards, Family area, Garden with open area and covered smoking area.

Ordered a burger that was accompanied by chips and onion rings. 2 RINGS !! Just about meeting the plurality of the description.......come on guys.... surely you can do better than this ?

Great local pub. Amazing staff. Darts team. Pool team on its way. Trips, bingo tuesday, raffles. Recently raised money and got a defibrillator onsite. Buy one get one half price mondays.

The new owners have done amazingly with the refurbishment not only indoors but with the outdoor garden area aswell!! Beautiful interior with pool table dart board & quieter area with tables & chairs aswell as the bar area. Lovely garden tables & chairs & a safe enclosed children's play area outside.

Waited 50 + years to visit for the first time (mum was an original bar lady when it first opened). Was not disappointed, staff made us very welcome.
