The trio roast was great value and really tasty. Someone with us had the lamb rump roast which was the same price as the trio roast and they agreed the trio was excellent

We came for lunch as it was my husbands birthday, 2 adults , 2 kids and a dog. Firstly we were so impressed with the doggy station and so was our pup, it was so nice for us to bring him somewhere and feel truly welcome. The staff were all happy, kind and helpful. The food was delicious. We sat outside , it was a beautiful day ! The outside area is lovely, the children loved running around. We will absolutely be back!

Nice place to stop if you go with no expectations, but food wasn't amazing and we sat outside which was nice, but needed a tidy up.

Adjusted my review this year. The chef may have changed, food not as good, my wifes chicjen in her chicken curry was overcooked, dry and burtn a bit. My burger bun was a little hard too.A couple near us had also said the quality of food they had has gone down since their last visit also.Took us over 45mins to get our food but it was a bit busy at 1pmPolite staff though.Always Nice to see a pub let dogs in.

Great food, such a different pub now it’s had a makeover! Great service by Maisie as well! Thanks for a lovely meal and drink!

OK, so we called in for a quick drink, a bite to eat and to see the new decor.Lovely friendly, enthusiastic staff and the works carried out make a huge difference. Shaw Farm has a reputation for being a bit indifferent but this new fresh look appears to be a winner. With the grass kept cut and with the new outside lighting and seating the summer will be fantastic.

We had an evening family meal here. Make sure you register your car number plate at the bar!My husband and I both chose pies, very nice, proper pies with a bottom. All our meals were very good, except side dishes of mac and cheese. It is a shame and surprising considering the quality of the rest of our food, but this was quite poor, simply macaroni with a bit of cheddar grated and melted on the top. No pretence of a cheese sauce. Our lady server was extremely friendly and attentive, thank you.

The whole experience was amazing, every staff member I came across was extremely welcoming and helpful, the food was excellent, I had the chicken and mushroom pie which was one of the best I've ever had! Fantastic experience and I will definitely be back.

Food expensive, burger/ chips £18. Was in a group of 12, service was friendly and efficient. I had sea bass which was £20.
