We were there for a family get together using the private annex. The buffet provided and the sevice was excellent along with the friendly bar staff which made a very pleasant atmosphere, and at £12 a head i thought was great value. If you want a family gathering then i do recommend the Bell
Traditional old pub with lots of genuine features and beautifully "aged" .Always an excellent beer selection in good condition.Lots of societies meet here, welcoming landlady...

Very friendly cheerful landlady. Excellent range of well kept and unusual real ales. Very much the hub of local life, with darts matches and meetings of the Vintage Motorcycle Club. No food.
