Lovely experience at a very local pub. Went in for a couple of drinks on a busy Saturday. The staff were wonderful and the service very quick. The wine was delicious. Next time we will have to get food as it smelled/looked

Didn't know this pub existed walked past twice. That's the only bad thing to say. The staff were so friendly and cheerful not often u have smiling staff! Well cared for pub. Lots of strange art on the wall but me casa su casa clean toilets. Did look at menu and looks tasty. Again dog friendly.

Nice pub with a lovely restaurant, food is good at a reasonable price. Service is quick and friendly, would definitely return and recommend.Parking: Small car park to the left side of the pub, not much room for a few cars

We went here for a work Christmas meal and the service, food and drunk was fabulous. Drinks topped up when ever needed and really friendly staff. ?:)Parking: There is free parking but it's limited.

We had a table booked for 7pm but arrived much earlier, asked if we could sit in the bar area for a drink first which was fine, at 7pm a waitress came over and said its 7 oclock and your table is ready, she just stood there waiting so it was clear we were to go now, food was reasonable priced and ok, I couldnt find a starter I liked which was a rarity for me but we felt very pressured to order as quickly as possible there is only so many times you can say we are not ready yet. We all said we felt uncomfortable and afterwards I said I couldnt put my finger on why we felt this way and my daughter in law hit the nail on the head when she said we didnt feel welcomed we felt like we were an inconvenience to them. I have been a couple of times for food and drinks in the garden and another time for lunch not sure if they were having an off day but I will not rush back.

Excellent Sunday roast today. The staff are very attentive and the food was very tasty. I loved the crisp type bits on the yorkshires and our daughter loved the cauliflower cheese! The outdoor terrace was a lovely setting! We will be back!
Visited on a busy early evening , weather was good, and we sat in the garden, with our dog, Nel. Manager was attentive and bought water for Nel. Made to feel welcome, staff were inviting, and provided a relaxed atmosphere. Some of the food was a little over cooked, standard and pleasant enough pub grub. Overall a lovely couple of hours remembered fondly , would recommend.

This pub was next to our accommodation at Rothmans. We booked a table for dinner for 7 people and everything was perfect from start to end. Table service, menu choice, tv with sky sports for the cricket , hot tasty meals , drinks and desserts. We couldn’t fault anything and wouldn’t want to. Very friendly staff and the restaurant and decor is stunning. Highly recommend!

Excellent Sunday Lunch. The Food that is. But what let’s this venue down is the service. The young ladies serving were lovely but it seemed every ten minutes or so we were asked did we want more drinks or food and our plates and glasses were whisked away. Instead of waiting until we had all finished we were constantly being interrupted and asked if we wanted anything else etc. We had booked the later sitting so that there wasn’t any pressure to rush our meal and vacate our table. But we felt we were being so rushed and harassed that we eventually asked for our bill and left earlier than we had planned. We were looking forward to a cosy relaxed lunch with our friends catching up on news and enjoying time together but the constant interruptions stopped our conversations and we had to keep starting them again. So, the food was lovely but I doubt whether we will be going again.

I hadn't been here since pre covid times due to the previous problems there. Oh wow what a difference. Lovely staff with table service, fast service, nice music, heaters, the place is no longer a gathering for the druggies but a nice place for friends and family to have a beer. Only downside was closing 10pm but hopefully that will be extended in the future
