Went on a Thursday evening,had a table for 3. Food was lovely, fish and chips, rack of ribs X2. Plus a dessert. Chips were big and chunky, cod tender and moist with crispy batter, ribs succulent and tasty. . Thoroughly enjoyed it. A good down to earth menu, friendly hosts, nice ales. We hope to be going again soon. Thank you.

Went on a Saturday afternoon with friends for a late lunch. We each had a different main meal but all were excellent and plentiful. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The apple pie/danish with ice cream was excellent as well. Empty plates all round apart from what we couldnt manage. Would definitely recommend this pub in a nice quiet location with excellent food.

1st time there last night fantastic place and really friendly atmosphere and landlord and staff so friendly and welcoming, the food wow best fish and chips iv had, big portions and the treacle sponge omg, so good we booked Sunday dinner, cant beat village pubs and home cooked fresh food,
