Went for a New Year's Eva walk around the Point Clear peninsula, as we were staying in St. Osyth. The Ferry Boat was at the half way point and we were very lucky as everything else was shut.It was all geared up for what I hope was a brilliant NYE party (free entry), but we were there at 2pm-ish so didn't stay for the party.Big place, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, pool and snooker tables, kids coin-op amusements grabbers etc.I believe it's now closed for the off-season.

Unusually there are no dogs allowed, so we had to sit outside.

A nice big pub with leaky roof and musty smell. Only thing good about it is it's cheaper than the club on site. Maybe better on a nice hot day.

Good cheap place with a wonderful garden great location.
Found this pub as was staying at the caravan park, it looks a bit run down but decided to go in for a quick pint, low and behold they've got 2 pool tables and a snooker table only £5 for an hour of snooker, that's 1990s prices, got a round of drinks and a game of snooker for £13. Bargain. Some of the reviews on here must think they are walking into a city chain pub. It's a good old fashioned spit and sawdust, good old English pub. They don't make pubs like this anymore. This is a gem of a pub and a dying breed. This is the ideal escape for a dad looking for a bit of peace and quiet from the family and a game of snooker ?

Nice pub, great beer garden for the kids normal pub grub served but all looked really nice what we saw coming out.
