“Looking around Clacton-on-Sea for a quiet restaurant during peak holiday season wasn't easy until we found the Regency Cottage on a backstreet. From the outside, my wife and I assumed it was a takeaway, but on closer inspection it is a reasonably spacious restaurant with seating available.

Being partially hard of hearing, I cannot cope with excessive noise, so asked the manager for a quiet corner which he was able to provide.

The Indian restaurant has an extensive menu offering a wide variety of dishes for every taste - from the mild to the very hot!

There is also a small selection of English dishes.

Beers, wines, other alcohols, beverages and soft drinks are also available.

As the evening progressed, so the restaurant filled up, showing its popularity. Throughout, service was fast and friendly.

There was no pressure to leave and the cost of dinner for two including wine was just £50.00. A price we'll worth paying for quality food.
