“Visited after spending all day at the Chappel beer festival. We did book a table as there was 10 of us but there is plenty of space. The food portions were large and extremely tasty. They also do a Sunday buffet which I'm going to try out. Highly recommended giving Jhaal a try. Friendly and fast service all round too.”

“I haven't been here for a couple of years but I'm pleased to say the food has remained delicious. It's a shame the council/local residents can't hold up their side and keep the area clean and tidy.
We were surprised by the very reasonable price for 5 people to have starters, mains and 2 bottles of wine. Will definitely try and go back again soon.”

“Favourite restaurant in Colchester & some of the best sushi we have had. The lion king roll is amazing & would highly recommend. The prices are reasonable too, I have been to other sushi restaurants where it’s much more expensive & the sushi doesn’t come close to Aburi. Definitely worthwhile.”

“Never ever thought I would be leaving anything but positive reviews for the noodle bar as I have been enjoying their food for so many years however ordered through Uber Eats this evening as 30% off only to be disappointed by the portion sizes of all dishes. If I had known the 30% was reflected in the portion sizes I would have thought twice.”

“We ordered delivery tonight and were truly impressed by how affordable the prices were. The delivery arrived in just 45 minutes, and I was thrilled not to have to step outside to locate the driver. He clearly paid attention to my notes, and I appreciate him taking the time to find the correct spot instead of driving around like some other drivers do. The food quality was outstanding, with no grease in sight. The chicken tikka masala was bursting with flavor, and it was refreshing to have it prepared this way rather than in a thick, creamy sauce. The onion bhajis and vegetable samosas were also delicious and, once again, not greasy. Additionally, we received complimentary poppadoms and drinks, which was a lovely gesture. We were genuinely impressed with this Indian takeaway and will certainly be ordering again soon. Thank you so much!”
