I didn't have great expectations before I had the food. I ordered 3 types of fish sashimi set, tamago nigrini sushi, eel nigrini sushi, soft shell crab maki, honey chicken wing, and assorted tempura. All of them are fabulous. Especially the honey chicken wings and tempura, can keep the crispyness even it is served for around 30 minutes. Honestly I make the most to go around every sushi restaurant I come across in the uk just so I can taste something remotely close to the freshness and flavours I see/had in Japan and when I say this is by far the BEST sushi outside of Japan I have ever had! Decent Japanese restaurant in Colchester, offering basic Japanese food. Our favourite place to go to for Japanese food in town. Well priced menu. Bento are reasonably priced and value for money. Restaurant signature maki are well made. Service are efficient. Highly recommended!
