British • “This is the most wonderful place. The ambience and decor are stunning. The staff are professionals and the food was probably the best I've ever eaten. We had the short taster menu and every mouthful was a delight along with the wine that was paired with each course. Delicious. We did not stay here but were shown around the rooms, each one is unique. Complete luxury.”

“An excellent hotel for our short break. A rambling building with some history, most importantly very good value with a “home cooked” dinner menu and an ample if modest bar. Only proviso, if you are over 6' you need to take care! Some of those C15th doorways appear to shrink whilst you are there. A very good area for a break. Next question - will I do an art course? we shall see.”
