Friday 13 th January 2024Today i visited this great Real ale and Eating pub in WivenhoeThis pub served 3 hand pumped ales and it was full of people eating the pubs' home cooked foodThe Adnams ghost ship ale was scrumptious today, and i felt so comfortable drinking in this old-fashioned pubs easy-going atmosphereThe bar staff /owners today are so polite and helpful
Great pub. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff, good beers, wines, spirits and snacks. Great menu providing good honest pub grub. Comfortable with a variety of places to sit. Log fire in winter. Occasional live bands and quizzes. Dog friendly. Best pub in Wivenhoe!
