Enjoyed a lovely meal here with the family. Their courtyard area is a lovely and quiet outdoor place to sit. The food was great. I had the truffle and buffalo mozzarella burger which was great. Their calamari was also super tasty. Overall, a nice restaurant to visit in the Colchester area.

Large family booking, waited a while for drinks, starters were poor, ( the garlic bread was just two small triangles with hardly any cheese on it. Main courses not much better. Service only average as well, no personality came through from any of the servers. In summary, its just a pretend Italian chain restaurant... and I don't think I'll be visiting another one of these Prezzo's anytime soon!!

Really nice meal with family, but want impressed with the food. Way too much pasta and not enough meat and sauce on the dinner. Personally won’t be rushing back.Just got home and reviewed the bill and there is a 10% service charge been added. Watch out for that if you go there and that hd just put a dampener on what was a good night.

Was an 18th Birthday for my son and this restaurant was his choice of venue, but really not impressed. The starters were great, and were the right amount of food, which was a good start, then it went downhill. I had some chicken dish, and if I had 3 bits of chicken I was lucky, the rest of the plate was just pasta and sauce. My wife had bolognaise, and there was what looked like one dessert spoon of sauce on top of a full bowl of spaghetti. Then the bill came, and there was a 10% service charge. Thought that was from the dark ages and certainly not from an Italian restaurant in Colchester. Have been to a few Italian restaurants in the past, and have to say, this was the worst. Certainly won’t be returning.
