What a gem of a pub/restaurant called in on the off chance we could get dinner, we were greeted by staff and other pub customers with a friendly hello and smile..we asked about meals and was shown the meals board, we chose our meals and drinks. So reasonably priced for it all and nothing was to much trouble, we would highly recommend to everyone of this family friendly place ,5* all round service, food and hospitality... We will be back soon for sure.

My sister and I had an exceptionally good Sunday roast and dessert. Largest portions we've ever been served at a pub. Very friendly and polite staff. Highly recommended.

Honestly the best food! Me and my partner ran a very successful pub restaurant for 7 years so we claime to be quite the critics on restaurant’s and pub food! Visiting my parents we decided to pop out for their amazing valentines special! Which may I add is extremely cheap for the food and quality and quantity. The lady that served us, Kelly, was the warmest human being and the atmosphere was lovely! Highly highly recommend this place for the food, service and atmosphere. Also I must add a massive thank you to reighley who cook our food! Thank you so much for an amazing evening xxxx

Have had a few really lovely meals at the cherry tree and we could not fault it . Unfortunately we booked a table for 6 for a brunch which we had done before and it was amazing service and food so booked same for a friends birthday treat we arrived at time booked ,pub was just opening went in to bar no sign of our brunch ,went to the bar after a while to enquire where our brunch was only to be told they thought we were the w I so did we want cake and coffee we said no we would like what we had booked for, in dribs and drabs a botched brunch gradually appeared not very nice appeared to be made from whatever they could find in kitchen . The lady serving us was very lovely and kept saying how sorry she was and the booking was lost or misheard that’s ok mistakes happen I just think it was very unprofessional of the landlady to not come out to see us as she was in the pub in the other bar . Unfortunately I don’t think we will go back such a shame . This was a few weeks ago so let’s hope they have improved back to normal service.

What a great place the lanlords were so friendly even offered our 2 children colouring books. The food was great I dont know how they make a proffit. The lady was called Rayleigh and she was clearly busy but found time to chat with us.
