Visited with a friend on Saturday evening. The open area outside gives it the feel of a pub on the village green. It's a nice, older building and had some quirky bits both outside and inside. The drinks and sevice were good bit we didnt eat there. Can't say I saw anyone eating but it was about 8pm when we arrived. We were able to park easily as well which helped.Nice, countryside pub which I will take the wife to one sunny evening.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We were there for a wake in memorial of my mother. Buffet provided that also catered fir vegans and those with other food preferences. Great selection. We had a side room, so set away from main pub. It was a bit small, but worked out alright and if the weather had been better we could have acceded outside seating. All in all thoroughly recommend

Great atmosphere,food and service. Can get very busy. A good selection of books to buy, and local free range eggs. They do an absolutely superb Onion soup- better than many French restaurants.
