We had a 60th party there for our friend Deb from our cycling group Hub and Spoke Couldn’t fault anythingThe food was delicious and hot The staff were very attentive And appreciate there were so many of usBig Thank you to Hava whom sorted out our individual receipts ???She really was a star ?
Really nice pub but the atmosphere always feels a little low in this pub - they have a large beer garden too which would be amazing if they invested a little money and time in making it look a little more cosy. Shame as it definitely has a lot of potential...Food menu options are good (includes vegan menu), food quality is average.Dog friendly for the bar area and outside, not in the restaurant.Sunday roasts are to die for at this place... :)Edit: they have now improved the garden...read full review

We visited the George and dragon for an event and had a great experience throughout. Ioana and the team were attentive, considerate and accommodating both before the event and with last minute requests on the day. The food was great and drinks were fab, and the atmosphere was lovely and personalised for our event. I'd recommend visiting.
