Went to this pub for lunch at about 2 pm and enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service so much. we ended up staying for a quiz in the evening and got home at midnight!We've been back a few times since with friends, etc, and still get a warm reception and 5* service.Parking: If very busy parking can be difficult but they have 2 areas available.

Great Sunday roast lunch. The food was amazing. Best service I have received in a long while staff are incredible ,nothing was too much trouble. Definatly recommend this quaint pub. Make sure you book early very popular.Dietary restrictions: Chef came to check on dietary requirements you don't get that sort of service else whereParking: Has car park back and front of pub which can be a bit difficult as such a popular place, but we managed.

A fabulous old pub. There was a warm welcome for us and a recommendation of a particular gin (cherry), which was very nice. We had fish and chips and a burger with a side of halloumi fries. Everything was fresh and cooked to order, which was great. We were able to relax next to the roaring fire while waiting . When the food arrived the fish was hanging off the plate, both my brother and I enjoyed it, the batter was light and crispy and the fish was flaky and tasted like fish should....read full review
