A GREAT little local pub that has many incarnations over the years. Always a friendly crowd and a great location by the river for a pint in the sunshine. The Tuesday night pub quiz is a good launch and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We visited the wharf pub for the first time as we have recently moved to the area. We was served by Beth who seemed very welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately there was a lot of items on the menu that were unavailable at the time but I enjoyed a Thai curry which was made nice and fresh and was very tasty. My husband enjoyed the burger and chips and we also had some sides too. We wasn’t happy with one of the starters we ordered so they offered us something else which was fine....read full review
The staff was awesome. We had a good time talking with Beth and other members in the pub. The drunk we had was good, unfortunately the oven was down so we didn't stay to order food. We might try to come back later, but we had fun for the short time we were there
