Lovely country pub with a welcoming warm real fireplace. Lovely country village location with lots of happy family memories as we have ties to Toppesfield.

Great wee local pub, very good selection of beers on the fonts, including a couple of locally brewed offerings (literally next door, so very local)

Enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch when visiting the area. Both the prawn cocktail and the smoked salmon and prawn starters were fresh and tasty. The main courses were superb. We had the roast beef and the turkey and gammon both were excellent with large portions of meat, roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings and gravy with mixed vegetables to share with 6 different options. Typical Sunday lunch choices but very well cooked and presented. Good value for money too. We will be back.

A hidden gem. Super home cooked food. The Green Man is a fabulous local pub with excellent local beer (pumphouse brewery on site!), friendly locals and a warm welcome from Janet and Kevin. Gluten Free Beer and Food are excellent.

Very welcoming, traditional village pub with stunning views. Delicious homemade meals, great selection of drinks and the beer is kept very well. Nothing is too much trouble for the management and staff. It’s wonderful to see our community owned pub thriving as the hub of our lovely village.

Janet and Kevin provide a relaxing environment to have a drink and eat. The kids are always welcome and the food is excellent. They even off takeaway which is fantastic.

Splendid country pub, getting better all the time, local beers, friendly, warm fire, proper food, and a super garden view, what's not to like?!

Can't comment on the food and drink. However be aware that this establishment hosts trail hunt scum and other wildlife criminals.

Great food, great staff, very child friendly, nothing is too much trouble for these experienced landlords.

One of the worst pubs I have ever visited. Over priced food. Rude staff. Would not recommend. I can only think the good reviews have been written by family or friends of the owners.
