Food & drinks: We arrived late and had dinner. It included the best chips I have ever tasted. Chips are ruined for me now as they can never taste as good as these. They were crispy, but fluffy on the inside. Perfect.
Fantastic little place. Proper country pub, with good food and really good beers. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and really helpful.The rooms stable yard style chaletes and round the back, when it's peaceful and quiet. They're spacious, warm and cozy and as well equipped as you could reasonably expect. Serviced daily and if you're staying during the week, at least, they're an absolute bargain.

Visited 18th Sept and enjoyed a perfectly cooked meal. It was beautifully presented and delicious. The service we received was excellent. A very comfortable, friendly atmosphere with a lovely blend of traditional and modern decor. We will definitely visit again.
