We booked to stay at the Dorrington (two adults two children) as we were attending a wedding in nearby castle heddingham we didn’t need anything to fancy and just booked a family room for a bargain of £75. However upon arrival the friendly manager text me to let me know we had been upgraded to the cottage (just two mins down the road) so unsure if it always comes under the Dorrington and can’t speak for the other rooms. But it was a lovely, clean, fully equipped new inside,...read full review
I booked a family 'Room' for 2 adults and 3 children in July 23, as we were visiting to attend a wedding at the castle nearby. I paid £250 for us all for 2 nights. Stayed here for one night with family, and have to say it was a comfy night, the hotel is in the town and close to everything. Tom was very polite and welcoming and even showed us to our room, which is something that I've never experienced before. It is very reasonably priced The rooms were ok, they were clean and comfy beds but the room could do with a bit of a refresh. Other than that I had no issues at all. I would stay again ?
