“My daughter booked here for my Mother’s Day treat and what a treat it was . I’ve never been here before and the pub was in a beautiful village. The pub itself was really lovely, great decor and a really lovely welcome and really attentive, friendly staff. The service was quick and the food, well that was the best thing of all!! We had 3 courses on the special menu and every single course was absolutely delicious. The flavours were exceptional and it was piping hot . Such an enjoyable evening I will definitely be back !”

This charming pub is a true gem, steeped in 16th century history with full of character . We were there for a drink and dine. Whether eating inside or outside, you will be surrounded by beauty.

The staff is polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating and drinking experience.

“Decided to pick this place randomly without knowing too much. Was a brilliant find, a lovely spot set in the countryside.
Pub had a great feel to it, really clean and well presented.
Food was spot on, and excellent flat ‘specials’ lamb rump. Definitely a spot to head back to!
Toffee sticky pudding needed more sauce but that’s a personal preference as I like it drowning in the sauce ?”
