This is a lovely, cozy pub tucked away in the Essex countryside. This was maybe the sixth time I've eaten here and the food, drink and atmosphere has been excellent every single time. The last couple of times I had the pork belly so this time I told myself to try something new. As it happens the pork belly wasn't even on the menu. One item jumped out at me though. I love ribs. It was my first visit here, but it won't be my last. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant was very comfortable with a really nice atmosphere. The food was very good too and very affordable. Highly recommended.
