A warm welcome, a lovely table, interesting specials passionately described to us, delicious starters mains and desserts , very reasonably priced wine. And a nice, clean restroom. I will be back again shortly.

Writtle Rd, Margaretting, IngatestoneBeautiful family meal on Saturday evening .Our table was oval, it was lovely to be able to see everyone. It was really nicely laid.Our servers were very nice and professional. Most of us had 3 courses and all of our meals were very good.We had a great time here .

The Leather Bottle Blackmore
The Green, Blackmore, IngatestoneIt was my first visit here, but it won't be my last. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant was very comfortable with a really nice atmosphere. The food was very good too and very affordable. Highly recommended.

The Viper, Mill Green Rd, Mill Green, IngatestoneOut of the way can be a good thing, or a bad thing: for the Viper, it's an excellent thing!The Viper has always been worth travelling to, for food or drink, and the cosy atmosphere (with some olde worlde decor) just reminds me of what good well kept pubs were and that there's still a place for them.Well worth a visit.

Staff here are genuinely interested in catering to customers' dietary requirements. Ambience was relaxed and convivial. Loved the interesting decor.Highly recommended!! 16 The Square, Stock, IngatestoneGreat little place, the service is very nice here, you are welcomed with a warm approach and if you are a regular, they recognise this and definitely appreciate your business. The quality of the food is great, it's presented well and has a good taste, from the starters to the mains, the taste and satisfaction from food is spot on. The cost of the food and drinks can be a little excessive. However, highly recommend for anyone and definitely holds a spot for us to visit again in future.

One of the items on the menu is a very creative twist on a popular African dish - Jollof Rice and suya. It is a beautiful place to dine and hang out with lovely deco, too.

Hoop at Stock
The Hoop, 21 High St, Stock, IngatestoneWe ate for my birthday and had a great time. We run a competitor in some respects but always admire the guys here. On learning it was my birthday, hence the day off, they did a nice touch for my dessert. Nice to see local restaurants/gastro pubs still keeping the standards given all the challenges right now. We will for sure keep recommending this place to our residents.

Greenwoods Hotel, Stock, IngatestoneDelicious food as always here at Ellie’s. The restaurant is always comfortable and with beautiful surroundings but at the moment with the Christmas Decorations it looks absolutely magical. Service was great, very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend dining here.

Mill Green Rd, IngatestoneWe visited The Cricketers for their Festive Set Menu which was £33 for two courses and £38 for three. For the quality of the food and quantity this represented good value. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, the food was delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere was very Christmassy with the log burner and pub nicely decorated for Christmas. All the guests seemed to be having a lovely time. Service was excellent. Easy parking behind this pub which is a Victorian gem and well worth a visit.
