“Our first time at this friendly, traditional pub in a beautiful setting (cash only, please note). We sat outside as evening fell and were treated to a visit from four badgers! Will definitely return.”
“I had concerns when we arrived for our pre boked table this past Sunday as it was utter utter chaos, two queues of 6 at the bar, staff flustered and not coping and even though we had a table booked we still had to put our name on a list to get served?! Anyhow, after the initial impression things improved dramatically and we were treated to good service and excellent food with some excellent choice of drinks all in a charming setting. I suppose because it is so good it gets busy and we may opt to choose a less popular time next visit.”
