Our first time at this friendly, traditional pub in a beautiful setting (cash only, please note). We sat outside as evening fell and were treated to a visit from four badgers! Will definitely return.
Small, tidy country pub with neat little garden. Had cheese ploughman's and coffee. Fresh but slightly Small I'd say.Cash only, no cards.Would like to come back and spend some time inside with a beer sometime.Parking: Gravel car park off road for approx 19 cars plus a small lay by for about 5. Additionally can park along roadside at a push.

Great reception, excellent beer, cosy traditional atmosphere complete with log fire. A true 5-star pub, reduced to 4 through no fault of the owners. Only a few locals chose to reveal their amazing ignorance of matters European by voicing their narrow-minded opinions on the subject while extolling Britain's superiority in all fields. We European visitors were, however, less than impressed by such unprovoked expressions of jingoistic claptrap.
