A toast to the host who can boast the best roast!Stopped in at the Dog and Pickle after hearing great things and by god I wasn't disappointed. I was lucky enough to get a last minute table for my wife and I on a Sunday. It was meant to be at the bar but when we arrived we were lucky enough to be given a table.The Sunday Roast was amazing, I couldn’t fault any of it. The meat was all perfect, veggies were great and the roast potatoes were actually hot and crispy on the outside. I haven’t been to anywhere in Essex for a roast that does better potatoes!
