“Can't rate it highly enough small homely feel loads of drinks on tap great atmosphere well decorated loads of other drinks on offer also , the boys enjoyed drinks from tap alot had a great evening here they also sell cals hoodies and BEENIES I got a beenie hat very comfy and warm , service was superb lady remembered what we had every time this place is a ABSOLUTE GEM check it out definitely please you wont be disappointed thank you again for the hospitality and great service will definitely won't be forgotten and will tell everyone about the experience”

“Booked lunch for a group of 4 - table was ready drinks and food ordered after surprise and delight and the variety and keen pricing of the food. Four different meals ordered and all we absolutely spot on, quality, temperature, quantity and speed of service on a busy Friday. Fantastic, we visited a larger chain last evening apart from the buffet it was no comparison, expensive, lacklustre and disinterested staff. A quick chat with the manager was fantastic the most engaged and positive approach to food and customers - a revelation. So happy to return, soon!”

“Lovely pub where you are immediately welcomed with smiles from the team and the warmest of service. There was a great atmosphere in the pub and the standards throughout were great. The bar has a great range of lager, cider and ales, and is a great venue for watching sport. A lovely pub for either a drink or a meal, with the pleasant surprise of a beer garden; a great spot to watch the world go by. I look forward to returning soon.”

“Having had the privilege of moving to Rayleigh in January,our first task was to find our new local. We found it at our first attempt The Half Moon was our nearest within staggering distance home. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Saturday night live music was the game changer for us, we only planned on attending every other week but now find ourselves here every week. Late Friday afternoon in the pub garden has also now started creeping into play. Keep up with all the good work.”
