This review is not aimed at the Rayleigh Lodge, which I have found to be an excellent establishment rin extremely well, with friendly bar staff and good food. This is aimed at Ember Inns, or probably more specifically Mitchell and Butller. Increase the beer price Christmas day??? Now I hate Christmas, but not that much. Take yourself away and have a good look at yourself. Now I must say how much I love my local pub ? Just not the suits
Had a really good experience here on my birthday December 1st & December 3rd my 35th wedding anniversary. Food was very good & the atmosphere & friendliness of the staff was excellent.

Went there for Xmas day lunch, having booked earlier in the year. Staff and the service were brilliant. Although the food left a be desired. Turkey was dry, and roasties were barely roasted. As I said, this was xmas day, so I have no idea what the normal menu is like.
