“Nice breakfast but a little expensive.
Parking: Parking a bit awkward outside the cafe itself as next to a car sales and car valeting place so alot of cars all over the place.”

“Our first time visiting this lovely cafe for breakfast and we will definitely be returning. The breakfasts were amazing and good portion sizes. Very good vegetarian selections and the staff were very friendly with excellent service. Would definitely recommend giving this cafe a visit. Thank you.”

“OPEN 24 HOURS Has a good selection of fuel with modern pumps and a modern M&S and wild bean cafe to go along with the regular petrol station.”

“We only popped in for a snack but the place was heaving. Obviously a nod to it's good reputation. Very clean, nice food and lovely staff who were so helpful to older and more infirm customers.”

“Greggs, very consistent bakery offerings. Decent coffee that's cheaper than alternatives.”

“I visit Rayleigh most days just before closing for a consistently good cup of coffee, and moreover the warm conversation with each staff member (without exception). I find if you are polite and offer some gratitude it goes a long way here. They work hard at Rayleigh with an incredibly busy customer footfall, I remain mindful of this on the rare occasion something is less than perfect. Thank you for looking after me. Steve”

“The original owner called this place "The Blinking Owl" after his wife developed a nervous twitch whilst doing the washing-up. Just waiting to see if the new staff develop similar symptoms. ?
Parking: Easy parking for a couple of lorries around the back.”
