“What a wonderful environment to spend a few days as my brother and I did. The rooms very comfortable all your needs met. The food is incredible using local produce as much as possible. The pub is very welcoming as are the owners and those in the bar staff. I highly recommend the Half Moon,when there, take a walk around Picture Postcard village as well the church. Wish my stay were longer.we both hope we can return soon.Marian and John”

Pubs • “Went in for dinner with family. Friendly and attentive staff, it was busy but nothing too much trouble. Large restaurant, spotless and well set out. The food was tasty with generous portions and exellent value for money. Parking is free for a certain amount of time if you enter your number plate on the screen at the bar. Well cooked pub grub with a good variety for even the fussiest eaters. Perfect place to dine with family and friends”

“I’ve been to Crafty Casks a couple of times with my friend on a Sunday afternoon for a delicious Cherry gin, (there is great gin choice) and love the live music on a Sunday on from 4pm-6pm. This eve I went with my 5 year old daughter as an introduction to live music, I didn’t feel intimidated at all by being a single mum in this place and she also enjoyed the live music and the games that the owner provides sod we played Uno, Connect 4 and Blockus, we said it felt like we were in holiday when we were getting ready to go out and the relaxed atmosphere consolidated that feeling, can’t wait to return”
