The Yard is an absolute gem. Went as a family of 6 (and dog) and had the best lunch in a long time. Burgers, ploughman’s, fish finger sandwiches, wraps, fruit smoothies and milkshakes….all absolutely delicious. You will have to wait 20-25 mins for your food to arrive but it’s worth the wait to have a freshly-made, delicious food at an affordable price.This is a family-run business. We all need to support businesses like this which provide amazing food, outstanding and friendly service, and keen prices on our doorstep. Lots of parking in the local area less than a 5 min walk away.

Dined there with my family on one of their Mexican nights. The food and service was great start to finish. The menu was almost entirely gluten free which was great for me and my aunt. The chef came and spoke to us re gluten allergy. After a few bottles of wine and some lovely cocktails, we left very happy. Service a bit slow, but lovely girls and ladies. Not too much on offer for gluten free diners. The only menu available was the afternoon one, I had hoped for some Mexican food. White wine was New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc?. No bloody Mary though

Dropped in for a coffee with one of my daughters today and they were fantastic! The best vanilla iced latte & oat milk babychino we have had! My daughter wanted some chocolate cake, but they didn’t have any on display but managed to rustle up a slice of chocolate fudge cake and make a little lady very happy. We’ll be back very soon!

What a little gem of a place. Run by a lovely family who made you feel very welcome and shared their story. Beautiful Mexican food, the lamb was to die for and the Cocktails were amazing. Recommend their own Yard cocktail with happy hour before 7pm. Lovely little find will be going back

Been to the yard frequently and each and every time the food and service has been outstanding! Absolutely love this place. The staff are so welcoming and cater for all needs. Every time I have something different and I’m never ever disappointed. This place is a true treasure. Will always keep coming back for more .
