I ordered around £60 worth of food from the online setup. They took my order then swiftly took my money. The order sat in ‘ pending’ for ages and ages. It became so obvious that the order would not be fulfilled “ due to high demand “…… that I decided to cancel….! Why didn’t they decide that before taking my money. Now the third party company says it’ll take up to 5 days to return the monies !!!! Despicable !!! Will not use ever again !!!

My wife & I had Beef Chow Mein, Chicken Chow Mein & Prawns in Chilli Salt. It was absolutely the worst Chinese meal we have ever had. Everything was disgusting. It tasted & smelt of burnt tobacco. We could not eat it we had to throw it away. The health & safety need to need to shut this place down before it puts someone in hospital with food poisoning ??

We must have had a fluke last week, because we ordered again today and it was awful. Chow Meiji had a horrible burned tobacco smell to it, chips were soggy, prawn crackers were hard and had same burned smell to them. We ate what we could as we were starving from being out all day, but honestly feel worst for it and will never order from here again.

Would leave no stars if I meant I could still leave a review, how does one make Chow Mein stink of smoke? Other than literally docking ciggies out into it? Anyway, won’t be back save yourself some money don’t buy here.

Ordered food of just eat food did not turn up when phoned over an hour and 20 minutes later was told the kitchen is now shut and would not bring our order went back onto just eat and saying it still open when phoned through again was told if we was in Rayleigh they would accept our order what a shower of sh*t

Ordered for delivery and it processed through as a collection - called up to ask about it and was rudely spoken to on the phone .
My partner and I ordered a Chinese on Saturday night, we ordered and ate the same thing except I had duck rolls and prawn toast to myself. By Sunday midday I had pretty bad food poisoning and had to leave work early. Won’t be ordering from yat wongs again and would avoid any seafood on there menu!

Ordered food via Just Eat, was supposed to be here at 7.50pm. Didn't arrive yet received a message saying it had. Tried to call the restaurant 4 times between 8.00 and 8.20pm, all times the phone kept ringing and ringing until someone picked it up....then hung up. Yep, they hung up 4 times.Food eventually arrived at 8.25pm with no apology from the driver.PLEASE don't support this restaurant by ordering from them. Such terrible service.

Mixed h'orderves - Tiny ribs & soggy spring rolls, Prawns with "Seasonal Veg" veg was carrots with basic cabbage only & prawns were over cooked and rubbery, Chow Mein was burnt. Will not be ordering from them again !!

Okay so came in from work tired as hell decided I wanted a Chinese I’m exhausted I’m hungry!! Order Chinese from here and omg I nearly threw up, I’ve always gone here since a little kid and today was horrific chicken balls were black and slimy in the centre and smelt old really really old also forgot the sweet and sour sauce I ordered Singapore noodles just pure salt it made my mum feel ill and when she’s hungry she’ll eat anything one bite and she was like nope.£20 we spent just thrown in the bin. I’m so sad what’s happened to yatwongs and even though they were very quick the quality wasn’t good at all much rather wait an hour for beautiful food then 10 minutes for food that could make someone really ill. I just don’t know what to do wasted so much money on something that made us unwell?
