“I've been here 2-3 times in the last 5 years and eaten lunch here. The food is very good. They do table service, but manage to remain a proper pub rather than going "way gastro". A good beer selection, including Wadsworth's 6X, which it's unusual to find in this part of the country.”

My new favourite pub in Walden by a country mile, head & shoulders above the majority of the other local offerings. Attentive and pleasant staff, awesome selection of real ales, comfortable and spacious beer garden, the list of compliments goes on… Unfortunately didn’t have time to stay and sample one of the various food offerings, maybe next time. I will DEFINITELY be back!!”
