Great traditional English pub with good beer, nice to see there are some still left.

Good place to drink a beer, the waitress is told you in every moment what happened or if she needs to up stairs to the kitchen.

The Kings Arms is the best pub in Saffron Walden. Beautiful historic building on Market Hill. Landlord Ashley along with Page will make you feel so welcome. On a chilly day or evening you can enjoy two fireplaces. The bar food is also delicious along with the wonderful selection of hand pulled beers!

Visited for a pre arranged family function. We have a nut allergy vegan in our party and they really looked after her food wise. Arranged food especially for her and kept it back so it didn't get eaten by others! Thank you.

This pub could be so much better. The bar staff couldn't be bothered tbh. It's a great place, just needs some nurturing.

Really enjoyed a leisurely lunchtime visit to this old Saffron Walden pub. It wasn't busy when we were there but it must be a popular place judging from the excellent range of beers and pub grub menu. I had a half pounder burger ? which was so delicious that I sent my congratulations to the chef for producing the best burger that I remember eating! Well worth a visit and located just off the market place.

A lovely quaint pub. Great customer service, even bringing the drinks over to the table, also a great selection of drinks and a brilliant atmosphere. Will definitely return again soon

Good pub, good food and excellent service. We were visiting Saffron Walden and our hosts (locals) rate it as the best pub in town.

Delicious pub classics. Perfect fish and chips. Huge helping of ham and eggs. Well priced wine. Delightful bar staff. Beautiful building - old but not fussy. Great atmosphere.

To be clear, this is the type of pub that this country is famous for. Great real ales and premium lagers enough wines to meet most requirements. The lunchtime food is what I want from a pub, honest and hearty and won't leave you hungry. When my wife and I first moved to this town we found the pub regulars were very welcoming and always more than willing to join you in the big debate of the day. Ash looks after his customers and beer with equal aplomb.

Friendly pub, had a good pint of Ale and some crisps in the beer garden.
