Having lived in Hadleigh for 4 years i finally visited Peggotys for the first time last Friday. I bought food for four, two adults, two grandkiddies, we had sausages, steak and kidney pie and two portions of chips. All was very nice, the chips in particular were really good, proper chip shop chips !It was well priced and the staff were nice and friendly. We will definitely back, a local gem for us in Hadleigh.

A great fish and chip shop! I would most certainly recommend a half chicken. Chips are always brilliant whenever I’ve ordered them from here. Lastly, they are reasonably priced.

Went into the shop Thursday 4th may for cod and chips waited over half hour for them but when we got home the chips where like lunch time chips reheated was disgusting and having to pay £14 plus for the food and I am a pensioner and thought I would treat myself I won't be buying chips from that shop anymore x
