Excellent fresh cooked fish and chips. I was given what they referred to as a medium cod. It was huge well cooked crispy batter. Chips cooked just the way I like them. £8 for cod and chips and because of the quality it was worth it.One thing I do need to mention, get rid of those awful cheap ketchup sachets at 30p each with nothing in them and get the heinz ketchup sachets with a decent amount of sauce in them.Small thing and would definitely not put me off.I know where to come...read full review
By far and away the best Fish and Chip shop in town - or anywhere else for that matter! Very tasty food, reasonable prices and nice, friendly staff. What's not to like? Highly recommended.

Fast and amazing service, cleanliness was not an issue. I ordered a haddock fish with their scampi fish, loaded with a nice crunch to it (highly recommend) and was amazed by the freshness and crispiness of the fish, this was by far my third visit to Peggottys and I will definitely be visiting again. It includes reasonable prices with large portions, I highly recommend this restaurant!
