We tried this place twice. While the food was ok, it was nothing special and the second time we went we were left waiting an hour for our food.The food was average at best. It is obvious the gravy has been rushed and the curry suffers as a result.Also, for an Indian restaurant not to serve Indian deserts (gulab jamun, ras malai) is just baffling to me.Not authentic and just aimed at people who don’t know real Indian food.

Definitely the best Indian around. Me and my boyfriend have been here a couple of times now and the food has never disappointed ! We were told by Raj the manager that all of their food is fresh and made from scratch (unlike other Indians) and this definitely reflects in their food . Not to mention the portions sizes which are huge . Overall I would really recommend this restaurant….. beautiful food , lovely staff and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere!
We had a great meal at Raj Indian Ocean in late September '23. We started with the usual poppadoms and dips that tasted very fresh and especially the yoghurt which was light and creamy and worked well with all the other dips. We followed this with a chicken tikka biyriani, another chicken curry dish and some sides, they were all expertly cooked and served on hot dishes which meant the food remained hot throughout the meal. We will be back!

We traveled from Canada and once again were able to indulge in Raj's delicious food so hard to choose a couple of dishes as they are all so good the Nan bread is a must have.So once again thank you Raj for still providing amazing food, and my family Liza and Les for living in that village so we get to go back to one of our favorite restaurants.
