Had a great time at the Star Inn. Had the Maid of Stone, a lager brewed by a microbrewery less than two miles away. Pub‘s a free house with a great dog-friendly atmosphere. Great value, tasty Sunday roast. Reasonable selection of beers. Service to table could have been more attentive (we were left in the extension on our own and felt forgotten). Will certainly visit again and try to be seated in the main pub area.

As a Customer first time visiting the The Star it was okay but walking on egg shells is the feeling during the visit. It was Steak n kidney pie with veg. The drink was Guinness.
