I simply needed a place to stay the night before an early flight. Third was a great choice as the bed was comfortable, the room temp was fantastic (with the AC), the food was reasonably priced and delicious. There is a shuttle to the airport that costs £4 as well, so I would definitely stay again if flying out of Stansted.

Ideal if you have an early flight the next morning. Friendly service and a wonderful breakfast. My room was wheelchair friendly which meant the basin was rather low and the shower full of bars but it was also very roomy! The room was clean, well-equipped and the bed was comfortable. All you need for a one-night stay. Not suitable for a weekend bteak as the situation, although ideal for the airport, is not otherwise ideal!

Very modern building on a good location close to London Stansted Airport. Fantastic staff, also a pick up/drop off point for the Stansted Express shuttle. Rooms are the older version, with small TVs, but the rest is Premier Inn standard, from the bed, bathroom and all.You can walk through to the attached restaurant from within the hotel.If nothing tickles your fancy, there's a McD a walking distance away.

Good location near airport, easy bus from the main bus station at standstead (£4/adult which is a little high for such a short journey but very convenient).Beds comfortable and rooms spacious.One of the towels we had wasn’t clean but at least we had enough others in the room.Check in easy, staff at check in were ok, not overly friendly but just fine.Breakfast was pretty good with free breakfast for children, staff at breakfast were friendly.Overall recommend for a night before or after a flight.Price a little on the high side.

Boring but functional airport hotel. Zero personality but good quality furnishings and clean. Professional staff, easy free WiFi. Downsides: no refrigerator or access to ice, you have to book if you want to eat a meal in their restaurant, and totally soulless atmosphere. To be honest I would go back if had early flight.

Everything about the hotel is great & always a great experience. I have stayed in this hotel numerious times each year before a very early morning flight or after a very late flight. It has always been so easy to check in & to my room for a great night's sleep.

Sara came to our rescue when she knew we were looking for an emtpy room. As soon as she had a customer make a room cancellation she immediately came over to notify us and did everything she could to ensure that we had a place to stay. She was extremely polite and helpful throughout and we won’t forget her outstanding customer service and willingness to help those in a pickle. Well done Sara, and thank you so much!

An early flight and extended check-in time due to staff shortages meant I wanted to stay at Stansted the night before, neither of the hotels at the airport had a vacancy so I tried the off site alternative which necessitated a short shuttle bus ride at an additional £4 per person each way this service only runs every 30 minutes but it got me from the train station to the hotel and back the next morning successfully, but I was a lot more anxious abut missing my flight (for example of a driver had not turned up for their shift

Chose this hotel because close to mid stay car park and we had an early flight also need disabled accessible room for my husband which you can book online with PremierInn unlike a lot of other hotels where you have to call

Used premier inn before an early flight at Stansted. Property looks great and modern from outside. Upon entering the lobby we received no welcome, and used the self serve to check in which was quick and easy. Room was outdated and had a really odd ‘musty’ smell upon entering, cleanliness maybe 6/10. Bed was pretty worn out, didn’t sleep well. Bar was decent, again a bit dated and the sofa chairs we sat on definitely needed an upgrade. I love premier inns for their comfort and affordability but was disappointed that this was one of the older style hotels. Told someone at the desk about the odd smell in the room who just brushed it off!

Quiet and comfortable, clean and very fresh bedding, only one teabag per person ( 2 ) and one coffee sachet per person, and not very pleasant in taste.Staff very friendly and helpful.Burgers were £13.00 + chips were with the burger, just a little dearer than McDonald's ??But overall a quick peaceful place to rest before or after a flight.Very good.

Really comfy bed, shame about the free WiFi - had to pay extra for better WiFi. Great place to sleep if flying from Stansted - there are shuttle buses every 30mins at £4. Don't walk down the dual carriageway like I did - do not trust Google maps! Price was bit on expensive side but it was convenient and had a good night sleep.

This is bog-standard Premier Inn: easy-going, chill and cheap. We arrived at 9pm and left again at 3am for our flight, so we didn't stay long at all. The room was all we needed; the size was great, the place was clean and the bathroom was neat, complete with a superbly comfy bed. Price decent for the time of year (£61 for the night). The only thing we didn't like was the charge to use their bus to the airport: we didn't bother and instead walked to the mid-stay (where we'd parked anyway), and got the bus for free. Otherwise, a tidy hotel I wouldn't hesitate to stay in again were it not for the terrible issues we encountered at the airport itself, which meant we'd probably never use Stansted again.
